Immobilise is a free online registration service that lets individuals record ownership details of their valuable possessions. The entered information is securely stored in a database and made accessible to law enforcement agencies through their online systems. This collaboration assists the police in identifying the rightful owners of lost or stolen property and combating property crime.

Uniquely numbered tags in a familiar plastic design (no spiky corners like some metal tags). For the price, an absolute no-brainer to enable your lost or stolen possessions to be reported and identified if they fall into good hands. I was happy to order these knowing that I was supporting the Immobilise service after recently creating an account to register my stolen phone. Fit, register and forget!
A clear plastic tag which contains a label with a unique nine digit number and advice for finders to return the attached keys. The number and a description must be registered on an account which can be created at immobilise.com (email required). If by chance anyone has registered the same number, by mistake for instance, the description should sort it. Police can trace ownership enabling return. The clear plastic can scratch attached to keys but the label is still readable. Keep records of items so you can tell website of loss. Luckily I have never had to test the system!
I have had these before. Have never lost my keys but sure that they would be returned if someone sent them to Immobilise. My old fob eventually broke off but had it long enough that I do not have any complaints.
I have not lost my keys since I have had the tag on but for £8 for two you do get peace of mind that if you do, there is a very good chance you would get them back.
Key rings purchased to accompany sets of keys. Simple to attach and record with the immobilise web site info. Have purchased similar some years ago and manufactured from metal , being a bit more robust than the plastic ones supplied, but these are pretty good value for money and I would buy more in future.
one off payment to have keyfobs which allows lost keys to be returned
